Jacob's Well Natural Area at 1699 Mount Sharp Road, Wimberley, Texas.

For such a famous place, there is very, very little to see. We drove from Houston to see Jacob's Well and I have to admit that the drive was a lot more fun than the actual well. There is a little hike when you get there but it's a easy 10 min trail walk. The parking lot is small so don't come during peak hours. The well is located in a small Creek. The well is literally the size of a kiddy pool in the creek. The rocks by the creek are glass slick and if it wasn't for the cool colors in the well, I would have been pissed. Good place to go to say you have seen it, but you won't want to go back.
